GeeCON Train - JVM tour you cannot miss!
It’s nothing new that if somewhere in the world cool tech conference is being organized, SoftwareMill-ers are going there.
...and GeeCON is no exception!
We are actively involved in GeeCON for a very long time. We love to attend the event, often as speakers, and also support it as volunteers. This year’s edition is very, very special, because of the 10th anniversary of the Conference. Is there a better way to celebrate than expand the experience? (Probably) No. And that’s why we are kick-starting the conference with a before-event on a train from Warsaw to Krakow.
On 8th of May, 2018, we are taking an IC train, leaving at 7:15 p.m. from Warszawa Centralna station, and arriving at Kraków Główny at 9:53 p.m. Agenda: chill, tech/untech talks, fun. Meeting new friends!
Dots, Stripes, Paws
The conference is going to be exquisite. Beloved speakers, among them:
- Adam Warski (with a talk “What have the annotations done to us?“),
- Andrzej Ludwikowski (with a talk “Performance tests - it’s a trap.“),
- Jacek Kunicki (with a talk “How (NOT) to use Reactive Streams in Java 9+“),
- Michał Matłoka (with a talk “Small intro to Big Data”).
Great atmosphere, lots of lots new things to learn... and cool swag too! We’re looking forward to meet you there!
Ten of SoftwareMill-ers are going to attend the event. As always we are happy to exchange knowledge and share our awesome stickers. Don’t be shy and poke us then!
